Een maand geleden maakte het American Film Institute zijn jaarlijkse Top 100 van beste films aller tijden bekend. Met Citizen Kane inderdaad weer op 1, en The Godfather op 2. Een clubje internetfilmjournalisten besloot daarop een eigen, iets eigentijdsere lijst samen te stellen. Ook een Top 100. En zie: daar staat Citizen Kane op 2 en The Godfather op 1. De verschillen blijken niet eens heel groot. De online-filmjournalisten schatten sommige films veel hoger in (Pulp Fiction bijvoorbeeld) en hebben een stuk of wat nieuwere titels erbij zitten, zoals Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. (En The Incredibles, iets dat ik niet begrijp, maar goed.)

nou ja zeg hier hecht ik heel weinig waarde aan zoals je ziet zijn het voornamelijk oude films uit de tijd dat die mensen nog jong waren. Ik hecht meer waarde aan sites als IMDB en Moviemeter, ook de Godfather is veel te overrated, het is een goede film maar beste film aller tijden? nou nee
All the respect maat, maar sites als IMDB zijn juist zo gedateerd als de
klote. Deze lijst is inderdaad gedateerd, JA HET ZIJN GOEDE FILMS.. Maar iets
beginnen wilt niet zeggen dat het daarna niet beter gedaan wordt!
Er zijn de laatste 10 jaar al zoveel films gemaakt die deze lijst hard overraten!
